I love music! And I love these bands I've listed below.

The Young Dubs. These guys are actually based outta LA, two of them are actually from Dublin the rest are just a bunch of bloody yanks who play good. They used to be played on radio station KSCA . . . (A moment of silence for Southern California Alternative. ::sigh::)

The Aquabats. This is a ska band of 8, sometimes 9, guys. These 8 (or 9) bizzaros are way funny. Check out their web site. They're a theme band of superheroes singing about their enemies and trying to get themselves a Sunday morning cartoon deal.

Apocalyptica plays Metallica on Four Cellos. Trust me, it's rad. Even if you don't like Metallica. Or cellos. (Unless you don't like both of those things at the same time, in which case . . . don't trust me.)

Naked to the World. (Fleetingly known as Strange Angles) Another LA based band they've got an electric mandolin in some of their songs. We think they're cool and they think we're funny.

SCOTS! Also known as Southern Culture On The Skids. They used to play them on my favorite radio station of all time, KSCA (Southern California Alternative. But it switched format back in '97. ::sniff:: yes, I'm obssesive over this, I know. But it was a great radio station and I'll never get a station like that on the radio in my car until I can get Live!365 stations...)
